Public Boil Water Rescind Notice
IDLEWILDE & SANDY SHORES SUBDIVISIONS
OR ANY OTHER CUSTOMER IN THIS AREA THAT EXPERIENCED A WATER OUTAGE DURING THIS TIME
On Monday, September 18, 2023, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, Onalaska Water Supply Corporation (OWSC) PWS ID #1870009, to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform the customers of IDLEWILDE & SANDY SHORES – OR ANY OTHER CUSTOMER IN THIS AREA THAT EXPERIENCED A WATER OUTAGE DURING THIS TIME, that due to a loss of pressure from a water main break, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of today, Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
